ONE80

Paul’s before and after, a few weeks before the 1-year mark of being on ONE80

Before COVID hit, I had been training for the Camp Pendleton Mud Run and had gotten down to around 223 lbs. But once lockdown set in, I began eating like the world was going to end. At the beginning of 2021, I was somewhere north of 280 lbs. I didn’t know how big I had gotten until I took pictures with friends from high school after playing a show on March 5th of 2021. Less than a week later, my doctor prescribed a 2nd blood pressure medication and was trying to convince me to add a Statin to lower my cholesterol. That’s when I said, “Wait a minute!”

I told my doctor that I was planning on getting healthy, and asked if we could retest my blood in 6 months. She agreed, but I never told her what I was going to do to get healthy.

Earlier in the week, my good friend Dr. Scott Freeman from Prime My Body gave me a call to let me know they wanted to do one more round of beta testers on his company’s new weight loss protocol, the ONE80 Lifestyle Reset, and asked me if I wanted to be a part of it. He had just lost 20 lbs. on the protocol and was starting the maintenance phase. I told him to sign me up. I needed to do something, and I didn’t care what it was. Little did I know what was to come . . .

Paul’s first 200 days on ONE80

Today at the end of September of 2021, I am in the middle of my 3rd round of ONE80, closing in on 100 pounds lost. I recently changed from being classified as “obese” to simply being classified as “overweight.” I had no idea that I could accomplish that in less than 7 months without ever setting foot in the gym! Over that time, the way I look at food has completely changed. I have developed sustainable habits which will remain with me the rest of my life. Who would have thought that at the age of 50, I would be healthier than I ever was in my 30s and 40s? And I’m not done yet! My focus has now shifted away from the numbers on the scale: while my goal originally was to weigh the same as I did in college (150 lbs.), now I am focused on getting my visceral fat score down below 6, with the ultimate goal being a score of 1.

Over the past 25 years, I have done countless weight loss plans, all of which were very difficult and extremely restrictive. I was successful on 2 of those plans, but in each of those cases, once I dropped the weight, I was on my own, with no plan for maintaining my new weight. Of course, the weight always came back on, and there was more of it.

ONE80 was completely different in that 6 weeks of maintenance were built into the protocol. And specific hacks to counter any weight increase were part of that maintenance plan. I was able to go to the Orange County Fair and eat fair food and only be temporarily affected by my eating choices as I went back to the ONE80 maintenance plan the very next day.

This has seriously been the EASIEST thing I have ever done to lose weight! It has completely changed my life. And the best part of all is that for the first time in my life, I can confidently say that not only will I never get that big again, but also that for each lower weight that I reach on the way to my goal, it will be the last time I ever see that number on the scale in my lifetime.

ONE80 has taught me a new way of living. And that doesn’t mean that I have to give up decadent foods for the remainder of my life. I just won’t be eating them for every meal like I used to do. I’m a guy who used to not eat fruits and vegetables, and now they’re a part of my daily life. My body actually craves whole foods now—not the processed crap that I used to eat on a daily basis.

My ultimate weight goal is 138 lbs. But beyond that, I plan on doing the protocol twice a year for the detoxifying benefits.

Coach Jonas Crafts interviews Paul about his transformation over 2 rounds of ONE80

I have coached a number of friends through the protocol during the past 12 months, and they have each been successful. 1 of them has released 31 pounds through 1 round of ONE80, and another has released over 50 pounds through 3 rounds.

If you are interested in losing weight and getting healthy, the ONE80 Lifestyle Reset is a powerful protocol. And if you would like, I can help coach you through the process. Visit https://insomniac.primemybody.com/prod_ONE80_01 for more information on this protocol.
